Fabric sizes
- The quantity in the section of fabrics, velvet, lace, some types of paper, rubber, and bag zippers is measured in metres. Example: Quantity: 1 = 1 meter / Quantity: 2 = 2 meters...etc
- Some fabrics have their size indicated, such as (cut a quarter wide)
- Some types of fabrics are sold in fractions of a meter (a quarter meter - half a meter), such as monk fabric for embroidery, itamine, wide cotton fabrics...
Fabric sizes:
- Width of regular cotton fabric, 44 inches (114 centimetres)
- Batik fabric width: 44 inches (114 centimetres)
- There is a difference between the sizes of natural leather due to its nature
- Width of terry cloth (minky) 150 cm
- The width of the American broadcloth is 90 cm - 36 inches
- The width of the Monk canvas for needlepoint embroidery is 150 cm
- The width of the heavy canvas fabric is 200 cm
